- SBSC 2019: Brazilian Symposium on Collaborative Systems

The SBSC objective is to promote discussions that involve the development and evaluation of collaborative technologies, the investigation of how collaboration mediated by different technologies occurs in practice, and the application of these technologies in various domains. Paper presentation, research discussion, tutorials, and panels will create a learning environment with a multidisciplinary perspective involving several subareas of Computer Science, such as Software Engineering, Database, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Computer Graphics, Human-Computer Interaction, Multimedia Systems, Distributed Systems, etc. In addition, subareas of Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Education, Linguistics are welcomed to broaden discussions of non-technical issues in computing.

- Logic & law court session
Date: November 15th, 2019, from 16:00 to 18:00.
Local: Sala de seminário, Departamento de Informatica, Universidade Federal Fluminense, Av. Pasteur, 458, Urca, Brazil
Become a jury member and judge the case based on Logic principles. The case will be displayed here on October 15th. Prosecutor and lawyer are Informatics undergraduate students that must use in their argumentation the principles of logic to come up with a proposed verdict. It is never a straight forward process. Come and judge by yourself.
